In-Studio with Keith Urban

The East Main Media team traveled to Tennessee to capture American Idol mentor and Grammy-award winning musician Keith Urban in-session at The Castle Recording Studio. Keith performed several of his well-known songs and provided complete entry-level guitar lessons for the debut of his signature guitar product line.

East Main Media provided pre-production, location and script consultation, three-camera in-studio production, teleprompter operation, complete post-production editorial, audio mix, DVD authoring and mastering. Directed by Brian Brodeur.

Barnes and Noble: President Obama

Working closely with Barnes and Noble Booksellers, East Main Media produced the companion DVD for private label release of the Book/DVD: “Barack Obama – Words that Inspired a Nation: Essential Speeches 2002 to the Inauguration”. The DVD features videos including President Obama’s 2004 Democratic Convention speech in Boston, his 2008 Election-night victory speech in Chicago, and his 2009 first-term Inaugural address from the U.S. Capitol.

East Main Media coordinated source footage from CNN, provided video post-production editorial/mastering, Mpeg2 encoding, graphic design, DVD authoring, and overall project management.

Disney: Buzz Aldrin

When Disney called East Main Media to record Apollo astronaut Buzz Aldrin for their animated series, “Miles From Tomorrowland,” we couldn’t say “yes” fast enough! The iconic and charismatic astronaut was a pleasure to work with and brought his unique voice to the series.

Buzz Aldrin was recorded in East Main Studios Suite 3 with Neumann U87 microphone and Rupert Neve 5015 preamp straight into Pro-Tools. Disney director/ producer Sascha Paladino was in-studio with Disney LA, conferenced via Skype.

PBS Front and Center: Speakeasy

An all-new interview series airing on national television, Speakeasy provides unique insight into the lives and work of Rock-and-Roll hall of Fame recipients, Grammy Award winners, and legendary iconic musicians. Season 3 guests include Gary Clark Jr., Steve Earle, Nick Mason, Jack Johnson, Nick Lowe, and Seal.

East Main Media provided in-house post-production services, including closed captioning, encoding, mastering, audio mix, and complete QC and review of broadcast masters for national public television.

RWJBarnabas Health: Chef Sam Talbot

RWJBarnabas Health and Chef Sam Talbot developed the “Life Is Better Healthy” video series featuring healthy meal alternatives and conversations about nutrition with RWJBarnabas Health experts. The videos and unique recipes were designed to make cooking enjoyable and help educate families on the importance of eating healthy.

East Main Media’s writing department crafted the final production script in close coordination with RWJBarnabas Health and celebrity chef Sam Talbot. Four-camera on-location production. Post-production included comprehensive motion graphic development, editorial, color correction and final encoding for online delivery.

Meet The Mayors

East Main Media sponsors the Annual “Meet The Mayors” Breakfast. Presented in association with six local chambers of commerce, the event brings together state and municipal officials, along with local business leaders, to network and discuss important community topics.

The East Main Media team provided pre-preproduction support and social media promotion services for several months leading up to the event. We provided a complete range of live event production services, including video interviews with attendees and guests, on-stage audio support, real-time social media coverage, event photography, and 4-camera recording of the panel discussion. Final video editorial and mastering services enabled our web team to create niche-oriented Internet campaigns for the client and a 30-minute cut for broadcast television distribution.

In-Studio with Randy Jackson

Randy Jackson provides musical advice and performs as part of his “Play Guitar Now” package. Filmed over several days at Los Angeles’ historic Record Plant studios, Randy continues his mentoring role as he hosts the successful music educational program released in coordination with his signature guitar product line.
